Custom sauna in holiday home Villa Truze
In the stylish holiday home Villa Truze a custom sauna integrated into the bathroom. A nice addition that makes the stay even more enjoyable for the guests and provides the home with its own wellness experience.
Reindeer was responsible for the design and realization of this indoor sauna, making optimal use of the available space. The warm wooden finish, clean lines, and atmospheric indirect lighting create a beautiful whole that perfectly matches the bathroom.
A custom sauna integrated into the bathroom
One of the main points of focus for this project was the integration of the sauna into the existing bathroom. The sauna was fully custom designed to fit beautifully into the available space and the adjacent walk-in shower.
The entire sauna interior was executed in wood, with continuous wooden wall and ceiling cladding. The vertical wall cladding and horizontal ceiling slats create a refined interplay of lines and give the space a calm character.
The sauna bench was also custom made. The wide wooden bench slats provide enough space to sit comfortably and relax.
Electric sauna stove with sauna stones
The sauna stones provide the opportunity to pour water over them, thus influencing the humidity and heat experience during the sauna session.
A thermometer and sauna climate meter on the wall make it possible to monitor the climate in the sauna.
Indirect LED lighting under the sauna bench
An important atmospheric element in this sauna is the integrated indirect LED lighting.
Lighting was provided under the sauna bench that emphasizes the horizontal lines and creates a subtle floating effect. The warm light spreads across the floor and gives the wooden interior extra depth.
In combination with the natural wood tones, a pleasant and calming atmosphere is created.
Glass sauna door with wooden frame
The access to the sauna was equipped with a glass door with a wooden frame and a vertical metal handle.
Thanks to the transparent door, contact with the bathroom is maintained, and the sauna has an open appearance. The wooden framing also provides a nice transition between the bathroom and the sauna interior.
Extra wellness comfort for the guests of Villa Truze
In a holiday home like Villa Truze, the details make the difference. A private sauna offers guests the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing wellness moment during their stay, right in the privacy of their accommodation.
The combination of the sauna and the adjacent walk-in shower makes the bathroom a full-fledged wellness zone. After a warming sauna session, you can immediately use the shower.
Custom sauna by Reindeer
This realization in Villa Truze shows how a custom sauna can be perfectly integrated into a bathroom, without the need for a separate wellness area.
By carefully coordinating the layout, wood finishing, sauna bench, and lighting, Reindeer created a sauna that is both practical and aesthetically aligned with the character of the holiday home.
A beautiful added value for Villa Truze and an extra asset for guests who want to enjoy wellness at home during their stay.
